Homestead Movers Save the Day!

We had booked our move two months in advance with a Maple Ridge company who ended up canceling on us at the last minute. Thank goodness for James and his crew at Homestead Moving and Storage! They were actually in Nanaimo doing a move when I called him in a panic after the first company left us stranded. He said they could catch an afternoon ferry and be at our house between 4:00 and 4:30. They arrived on time all the way from the Island, were cheerful and friendly, and did the whole move quickly yet carefully, making sure everything in the truck was protected with furniture covers. We moved from Maple Ridge to Mission on May 31st and these three guys worked like dogs all day - only stopping once for lunch when we finally shoved sandwiches into their hands and once more when we brought them slushes to help cool them down. It was an incredibly hot day and we had alot of stuff - that huge truck was packed floor to ceiling and right to the very door!. Homestead Moving Company, A few months back we hired Homestead Moving to move our household items from Maple Ridge to Langley. James and his crew were professional, they took extra care with all our belongings and we made the move with no (nothing broken), casualties.

Living in a newly renovated home there were concerns with new hardwood flooring and fresh paint. We have had occasion to use Homestead Moving twice in the last year. The first time we picked them from their ad in the Yellow Pages. Jamie and Jim showed up on time, surveyed the household contents and immediately started loading the truck. Dear Jamie,

I just wanted to thank you for everything you did for us during our recent move. I have no idea what I would have done without you and Cecil. Up until the day of the move I had no help at all and wasn't sure how we were going to finally get into our new house.

After moving everything in my house and all the boxes too you went out of your way for me. Once we got into the new place, I'm sure you were just as exhausted as I was. At that point I thought you guys were getting ready to go and then I saw Cecil come in with his tools and was so happy to see him put our beds back together that night. I thought we were going to sleep on the mattresses on the floor that night!
